Randal M. Wold

Randal M. Wold 64, of Belgrade, died Monday, January 27, 2020, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, January 31, 2020, at Crow River Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade.  A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be at a later date. Services are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in New London.  

Randal Mark Wold was born on May 1, 1955, in Paynesville, MN the son of Gennes and Ellen (Nelson) Wold.  He grew up in the Belgrade and New London area where he received his education.  On March 3, 1974, Randy was united in marriage to Barbara Malvin.  This union was blessed with three sons.  The family made their home in the New London and Belgrade Area.  Randy worked at Windy Hill before starting his own recycling and auto salvage business.  He also enjoyed working with his family on numerous occasions.  Randy and Barb were later divorced.  On June 15, 2001, Randy was united in marriage to Tammy Olson at Gausdal Lutheran Church in rural Belgrade.  This union was blessed with a daughter.  The family made their home in rural Belgrade where Randy continued to recycle and salvage.  Randy and Tammy later divorced. 

Randy enjoyed camping, parties, and 4 wheeling.  His passion in life was horseback riding.  He loved everything to do with horses including, racing, training, showing, and trail rides.  Randy loved spending time with his family and friends.  He cherished every moment he spent with them especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Randal M. Wold died January 27, 2019, at the age of 64.  He is survived by his children:  Jason (Anita) of Sauk Centre, Corey of Belgrade, Casey of Belgrade, and Rikki Wold of New London; 11 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.  Randy is also survived by his siblings:  Tom (Brenda) of Belgrade, Patty Storms of New London, Dean (Pat) of Brooten, Jerry of New London, and Peggy (Tim) Malvin of Willmar. 

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Barbara; great-grandson, Caiden Hoeschen; and great-nephew, Kasen Lidbeck.
