Randall "Randy" S. Caskey, 62, of rural Pennock, died Friday, November 19, 2021, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud. His funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, November 27, 2021, at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London. Burial will be at East Norway Lake Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural New London. A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm Friday, November 26, 2021, at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London and continue one hour prior to the funeral service. Services are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in New London.
Randall Scott Caskey was born on June 30, 1959, in Willmar, MN the son of Harold and Delores (Iverson) Caskey. He grew up in the Raymond/Priam area where he attended elementary school. In 1972 his family moved to the Swenson Lake Area and Randy started school at New London-Spicer where he graduated with the Class of 1977.
On July 6, 1977, Randy was united in marriage to RuthAnn Gould. This union was blessed with three sons. The family made their home in the Swenson Lake area. Randy worked for Trouw Nutrition for 41 years before it closed. Randy was currently employed at Jennie-O as a Truck Driver.
Randy was a member of East Norway Lake Lutheran Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling, 4-wheeling, camping, and horseback riding. He was very proud of his sons and the men they have become. He was his grandchildren’s biggest fan, never missing an opportunity to watch them play sports. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
Randy is survived by his wife of 44 years, RuthAnn; sons: Dan (Angie) Caskey, Kelvin (Amanda) Caskey, and Joe (Ricki Bajari) Caskey all of New London; grandchildren, Courtney, Ayla, Chloe, Mason, Nolan, Emma, Ean, Korbyn, Evan, Elly, Emmalee, Ean, Karli, and Brock; mother, Delores; brother, Verlon (Phyllis) Caskey; sisters: Susan (Dave) Showers, Vanessa (Gary) Gerhardson and Kim (Randy) Hultgren; and many nieces and nephews.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Harold.
