Ray L. Krossman, 77, of Willmar, died Tuesday, April 21st at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. His funeral service will be 10:00 am, Monday, April 27th at First Reformed Church in Willmar. Visitation will be 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Sunday, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and continue one hour prior to his service at the church. Ray Lewis Krossman was born on September 23, 1948, in Albany, Oregon, to Henry and Mildred (Grandel) Krossman. He graduated from Marshfield High School in Coos Bay, Oregon, and went on to earn his associate degree. Ray was later drafted into the U.S. Army, where he proudly served for three years. During his time stationed in Germany, he met his future wife, Gail Lintel. After completing his military service, Ray moved to Minnesota.
Ray and Gail were married on April 19, 1974, in Brooten. Together they had two children, Tony and Sarah. They made their home in Willmar, where Ray worked for Kandiyohi County for 38 years.
Ray was a member of First Reformed Church in Willmar. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Tony (Shelly) Krossman of New London and Sarah (Stuart) Kirchner of Marshall; his grandchildren, Brielle, Riley, Wyatt, Haylee, and Elsie; and his siblings, Barb (Joe) Patton, Joe (Vicki) Krossman, and Bernice Werst.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail; his parents, Henry and Mildred; and his sister, Joan Turner.
