Reagan Ellen Brothers

Reagan “Rea” Ellen Brothers, 25, passed away peacefully in her sleep on August 31, 2026. Her visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, at Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar. A time of sharing will begin at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home

Reagan was born on December 14, 2000 in Plano, Texas to Jack “Scott” Brothers and Carol Olson.  She spent her childhood in Plano, full of laughter, mischief, and spirit.  She pushed limits, challenged rules, and sometimes left us wondering just how she had managed to get away with something once again, like when she took off with Opa’s three-wheel bike or relentlessly tormented her older brother, Jack.  She attended Plano schools and graduated from Plano East High School in 2019.  She helped run a sushi restaurant for two years after graduation. 

Reagan moved to Willmar, Minnesota in 2021, where she had the happiest five years of her life.  She worked at Target in Willmar, where she celebrated her 5 year anniversary in August.  Her bubbly, friendly, kind personality and positive energy led to many friends through Target, both coworkers and guests.  Wherever we went places with her in Willmar, guests and children would run up to say hello – it became a joke in our family that she was the most popular person in Willmar.  Many people also spotted her speeding around town in her little red mobility scooter car; she loved driving that car and the attention she got from it. 

Reagan was known for her unconditional love of family.  She was in constant contact with family, and we ended up calling it the Reagan News Network (RNN), because she kept us informed about what is going on with everyone.  She loved video chatting with her dad, “Nonnie”, Opa and “My Mary” and Uncle Jim daily.  She really enjoyed being Auntie Reagan and spoiling her nephews and nieces, and she always had something to give them when they visited.  Reagan never ended a conversation without telling her family and close friends “I love you”, “Ich liebe Dich”, or her signature “Love you, bye!”

When Reagan wasn’t loving on family, she enjoyed playing with squishies (literally hundreds of them!), doing art projects, Lego projects, and puzzles in her art room in her home.  She also adored her animals out at the family farm, from dogs to cats to cows to goats to chickens.  The pets came running to her for attention when she visited the farm.  Trying new recipes and cooking at home was another favorite activity.  And, of course, the girl loved shopping.

Reagan is survived by her parents, Scott Brothers (Vicky) of Little Elm, TX, and Carol and Eric “Pappy” Olson of Spicer, MN, her brother Jack Brothers (Miranda) of Allen, TX, , step siblings Christina Olson (Clark) of Savage, MN, Aaron Olson (Jennifer) of Copperas Cove, TX, Cory Olson of Willmar, MN, and Zac Black of Frisco, TX, grandparents Gabe Babin (Mary Gomez) of Fort Worth, TX, Jackie and Donnie Brothers of Granbury, TX, and Alec and Janice Olson of New London, MN, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Evelyn Babin.

And while the sadness of losing Reagan is impossible to measure, neither can we measure the love she left behind.
