Reid Harder Obituary

Reid David Harder, 49, of Willmar, died Monday, March 2nd. His visitation will be from 3:00-6:00 pm, Saturday, March 21st at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar with a prayer service starting at 6:00 pm at the funeral home. www.hafh.org

Reid David Harder was born to Dr. David and Pamela (Harms) Harder on October 13, 1970, at the Naval base in Sasebo, Japan. His family moved from Japan to Great Lakes, IL, Portsmouth, VA, Olean, NY and eventually moved to Willmar in 1981. Reid attended school in Willmar and graduated from Willmar Senior High School in 1988. He continued his education at North Dakota State University, University of Iowa, and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Reid started working at AUM Wood Products in Spicer, where he enjoyed building and installing cabinets. He was very creative and built several special pieces for friends and family. He also spent several years being a care giver for his mother. Reid had a big heart, a sensitive soul and a love of laughter. He was a huge fan of Star Wars and Legos or just plain Star Wars Legos. He loved to go to live concerts and movies, swimming and spending time with his friends and family.

Reid is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Ragen Harder and Brian Stenholm of Olivia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
