Rita "Kay" Schulte

Rita “Kay” Schulte, 65, of Willmar died Thursday, September 12th, at St. Cloud Hospital.  Her memorial service will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, September 18th, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home, Willmar.

Kay was born June 17, 1954, in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of Bill and Joyce (Lime) Ballinger.  She grew up in Celina where she graduated from high school in 1973.  Following graduation, Kay was united in marriage to Michael Schulte and to this union two children were born, Christopher and Amy.  Michael preceded her in death in 1978. 

In 1982 she married John Wills and they eventually moved to Willmar while John worked for Jennie-O as a consulting nutritionist.  In 2005 she moved to Wyoming and returned to Willmar in 2015. 

Surviving are her children, Amy Schulte of Willmar and Christopher of Cold Spring; grandson, Beaudie and brothers, Mark Ballinger of Celina, OH; and Luke Ballinger of Fort Wayne, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
