Robert William Johannsen

Robert Johannsen, Jr. was born September 4, 1944, to Priscilla (Evans) and Robert Johannsen, Sr in Pipestone, Minnesota. He passed away peacefully on September 5, 2021, after a long battle with his health.

Robert (Bob) attended school in Pipestone and then attended Mankato State University. He married Valerie Lea on October 18, 1970, in Brooten, Minnesota. To this union two children were born, Trisha and Leah. He and Valerie shared a love for Quarter Horses and spent their life together engaging in equestrian activities and sharing the love of animals with their family.

Robert is survived by his wife, Valerie; his daughters Trisha (Dan) Hoffman, Leah (Shane) Roering; grandsons Tony Hoffman and Nicolas Roering. He is also survived by his sisters and a brother as well as an aunt and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Priscilla, his brother Randy, and his Uncle Claus.

In lieu of an immediate public gathering, a private family service will be held at a later time to ensure the health and safety of all.
