Robert “Bob” Wayne Larsen, 86, of Willmar, formerly of Grove City, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025, at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
His memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in First Lutheran Cemetery in Grove City. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Homes, www.hafh.org.
Bob was born June 9, 1939, in Meeker County, Minnesota, to Gale and Leone (Berglund) Larsen. He grew up in Grove City and graduated from Grove City High School in 1957. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army for two years and was stationed in Alaska. Upon his discharge, he returned to Grove City and began a long career with Johnson Brothers Construction in Litchfield, where he worked until his retirement.
In 1981, Bob married Sharon Schultz. They made their home in Grove City and enjoyed spending many winters in Mission, Texas. In October 2024, they moved to Copperleaf Senior Living in Willmar.
Bob was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City. An avid golfer, he treasured his time on the course and played countless rounds at the Litchfield Golf Club and Island Pine Golf Club in Atwater.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; his son, Jason (Tiffany) Schultz; and his grandsons, Jacob and Nathan. He is also survived by his siblings, Dianne Lankey and Cork Bosch; his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Diane Larsen, Shelvia (Lee) Reese, Steve (Sandy) Schultz, Daniel (Mary) Schultz, and Robin Chapman; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his mother- and father-in-law, Lloyd and Louis Schultz; his brother, Steven Larsen; his brother-in-law, Les Bosch; and his nephew, Troy Bosch.
