Rodney L. Whipple

Rodney L. Whipple, 62, of Kerkhoven, died Wednesday, September 16th in St. Cloud.  There will be a visitation from 5-7:00 pm, Friday, September 25th, followed by a time of sharing at 7:00 pm  at Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar.  www.hafh.org

Rodney was born August 14, 1964, in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, and was raised by Paul and Ida (Garrison) Koser.  He graduated from Miltona Area High School.  He worked a variety of jobs following high school before he began his career as a truckdriver.  Rodney eventually moved to Minnesota, after living in Florida and most recently was living in Kerkhoven, driving for California Overland.

He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, sitting around a bonfire, grilling, fishing and restoring cars and trucks.  Rodney was always one to lend a helping hand to friends if they needed it.

Surviving are his fiancée, Valerie May; and five children including his son, Alex.  Also surviving are his mother, Ida and siblings, Randy, Kevin, Shane, Ranger, Mark, Ronnie and Bonnie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul, and siblings, George (Butch), and Debra.
