Ruth G. (Wosmeck) Carruthers

Ruth Carruthers, age 73, of Willmar, died Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at Bethesda Club Suites in Willmar.

A private memorial service will be held at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.  Interment will be at Clover Leaf Cemetery.

Ruth was born May 19, 1947, in McGregor, Minnesota, the daughter of Joseph and Lorraine (Olson) Wosmek.  She married John Carruthers and they later divorced.

She is survived by her daughters: Patty Laidig and Mary (and Roger) Barnes, both of Willmar; a granddaughter: Sarah (and Aaron) Callstrom of Lake Lillian; her mother: Lorraine “Dolly” Wosmek of Willmar; and Donald Wosmek of Brooten.

She was preceded in death by her father: Joseph Wosmek; and a son-in-law: Paul Laidig.
