Ryan J. Aalderks

Ryan Jon Aalderks, age 31, was called to his heavenly home on May 25th, 2022. A memorial service for Ryan will take place Saturday, June 4th, 2022 at 11:00 am at Cross Roads United Methodist Church in Spicer, Minnesota with visitation starting at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his GoFundMe account to assist with funeral expenses. Ryan was born on April 4th, 1991, in Willmar, Minnesota to Jon and Tammy Aalderks. He grew up in Spicer, Minnesota, and was the second of three children. Ryan was confirmed at Hope Presbyterian Church in Spicer, Minnesota. He graduated from New London-Spicer High School in 2009. Ryan most recently worked for Van Ort Turf and Erosion and was dedicated to the work he did. Even though he was a man of few words, Ryan had a big heart, contagious smile, and love for life. He loved his family, friends, and any outdoor adventure including but not limited to wakeboarding, fishing, kayaking, snowboarding, and both playing and watching hockey.                                       

Ryan is survived by his mother,  Tammy; father, Jon (and Sandy); brother, Dustin; sister, Samantha (and Reid); niece, Braeya; and step-siblings: Katie (and Brandon), Ian (and Amber & Karsyn, Charlie, and Andi), Daniel (and McKayle), Brennen, Lauren, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Pat and Arnie Aalderks, maternal grandparents, Donna and Roy Bjorklund; and cousin Shawn Kathman. His memory will be cherished by all those who had the privilege to know him. Ryan gave the gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue donation.
