Samuel Adam Posthumus

Samuel Posthumus, 45, of St. Michael, formerly of Willmar, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

His memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar with visitation one hour prior to the service.  The service will be streamed at https://www.youtube.com/@TheAGChurch/streams.  Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Homes.

Samuel Adam Posthumus was born July 4, 1980, in Waconia, Minnesota, to Steven and Debra (Benson) Posthumus.  He grew up in Mound, Minnesota and graduated from Mound High School.  Sam worked as a talent and acquisition recruiter, most recently for Legacy Restoration and the Blattner Company.

Sam was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Willmar, where he was active with the Men's Group.  He was adventurous, and enjoyed hiking and skydiving.  He also enjoyed traveling.

He is survived by his wife: Lacey Posthumus; and his five children: Lydia Grace, Quinnly Hadassah, Adrianah Noelle, Braxton Richard, and Kobe Richard.  He is also survived by his parents: Steve Posthumus and Debbie (Jim) Spaniol; and a brother: Jason Posthumus.
