Sara G. Miller, 71 of Litchfield, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Sunday, November 9, 2025 at Believers Fellowship Mennonite Church near Grove City. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Saturday, November 8 at the church and for one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Burr Oak Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Johnson Funeral Home in Paynesville.
Sara Grace Miller was born April 1, 1954 to David and Susana (Herschberger) Miller in Kokomo, Indiana.
She accepted Christ as her Savior in her youth and was a member of Believers Fellowship Church.
Sara was a dedicated caregiver all her adult life. She served at a nursing home in Three Rivers, Michigan, where she made life-long friends. She worked at all the Litchfield area nursing homes, home care, hospice, and the St. Cloud Hospital. After Sara retired in December 2019, she still helped with adult daycare and volunteered at the Grove City C.A.R.E. program. She also provided care for her parents and a favorite Aunt in Iowa.
Sara enjoyed winters in Florida, relaxing by a fire, fishing, sunsets, feeding birds, making cards, and diamond art.
Sara was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Thomas; sister-in-law, Mary, nephews, Leonard Yoder and Samuel Miller; two great-nieces, Krista Miller and Abigail Burkholder; and one great-nephew, Jordan Miller.
Sara is survived by her siblings, Neoma (Jerry) Miller of Eden Valley, MN, Mose Miller of Crossville, TN, Levi (SarahMae) Miller of Bloomfield, IN, Homer (MaryAnn) Miller of Millersburg, OH, Anna (Marcus) Yoder of Grove City, MN, Jesse Miller of Grove City, MN, Nancy (Steve) Stoll of Oden, IN, David Jr. (Esther) Miller of Lexington, IN, Earl (Trish) Miller of Crosshill, SC, Glen (Laura) Miller of London, OH and Mary (Tim) Edmonson of Annandale, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank you for your prayers and support during Sara’s illness. The many cards, flowers, and food brought to her house were very much appreciated and day-brighteners for her.
