Scott Perdue, 66, of McGregor, died Friday, June 13, 2025, at the University of Minnesota Hospital in Minneapolis.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar.
Scott Leland Perdue was born November 28, 1958, in Duluth, Minnesota. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, mechanic, racecar driver, tow truck operator, and an instructor at Brown College. He loved his time with family, strong black coffee, riding his Harley down a long road and the solitude he sought and found at his home up north in the woods. Scott shared his love with many pets in his lifetime. He had a strong bond with his dogs. His current dog, Jack, will miss him dearly. Scott had a strong heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He was a devoted father and loving Papa to his grandkids. His favorite pastime was making them squeal by going fast on the wheeler and giving them whisker rubs with his beloved beard.
Scott's family wishes to extend their gratitude for your support at this time. Our dad was a very private man and at this time we plan to honor him and abide by his wishes and forgo a service at this time.
Scott is survived by his children: Selena, Glenn, Amber, Angela, and Misty; 20 grandchildren; his parents: Barb and Jerry Olson; and his siblings: Missy Clark and Butch Olson. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Henry.
