Sharon Lois White, 77, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Park Rapids, MN and rural Willmar, MN, peacefully passed into eternal life on November 30, 2022 at Hospice of the Valley, Gardiner Home in Phoenix, AZ. There will be a visitation from 5-7:00 pm, Friday, December 30th at Harvey Anderson Clara City Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Interment will precede the visitation at 3:30 pm at Clover Leaf Memorial Park in Willmar. Arrangements are with Harvey Anderson Clara City Funeral Home, www.hafh.org
Sharon was born June 17, 1945, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar, MN, the daughter of Bennie and Hazel (Erickson) Jacobson. She attended public school in New London where she graduated in 1963. She then went on to attend Vocational-Technical College in Willmar and Granite Falls where she studied secretarial skills and cosmetology.
On October 23, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gerald Kleene. Their marriage was blessed with three children, Connie, Carmen and Steven. She devoted her life to making a loving home for her family. Sharon was a wonderful cook and baker who will be remembered for her delicious homemade cookies. She also enjoyed working with her hands sewing clothes for her children, quilting and crocheting. She was an ambitious lady who owned and operated her own business making hobby horses she made out of her home and sold at craft shows. She also helped manage the family livestock equipment business. Her care for others was evident as she worked as a CNA and home health aide. In 2006 she moved to Park Rapids to be closer to her daughter, Carmen, and family before moving to Phoenix in 2013 to be near her daughter, Connie.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Connie Kleene of Phoenix; Carmen Jewison of Nevis, MN, and Steven (Michelle) Kleene of Clara City; her seven precious grandchildren: Zachary, Megan and Hunter Jewison, Nathaniel (Isabel) Kleene, Nicole (Andy) Niemeyer, Kaylee and Caleb Kleene. Also surviving are her sister, Joyce Schumann of Howard Lake, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters and brother-in-law, Carolyn Nelson and Shirley (Duane) Combs and son-in-law, Doug Jewison.
