Sheila Kay (Edwards) Landin

Sheila Landin, 65, of Vesta, formerly of Willmar, died Monday, June 29, 2026 at Cura of Willmar.  Private family services will be held.

Sheila Kay Edwards was born on July 12th, 1960 in Pontiac, Illinois to Hollis and Irene (O’Donnell) Edwards of Kempton Illinois. She graduated from Tri-Point High School later moving to Pennock, Minnesota. After raising her children, she worked in food service at Rice Hospital for 20 years.

Sheila, with her “do it yourself” attitude and creative mind, was always working on a project, doing a craft or crocheting something to give to a friend. She was a self proclaimed rock hound and enjoyed traveling around the United States with family and friends treasure hunting and exploring. Sheila was never one to turn down an adventure.

Sheila was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Larry Edwards.

She is survived by her children: Holly Ninow (Godfrey) of Grove City, Justin Godbee (Leah) of Pennock, Katie Joslyn (Travis) of Coon Rapids, Ben Godbee (Melissa) of Pennock, and Jordan Landin (Ian) of Arden Hills; her siblings Linda Kauzlarich (Robert), Chuck Edwards (Mariena) and Jeff Edwards (Alicia) and her special friend Dustin Leavell and his daughter Nichole of Willmar. Her spirit and zest for life lives on in her 11 grandchildren.
