Suzanne (Roelofs) Negen

Suzanne Eileen Negen, 55, of Benson, died Monday, December 15th at St Cloud Hospital. Her memorial service will be at 11:00 am, Monday, December 22nd at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be at Svea Lutheran Cemetery. www.hafh.org

Suzanne Eileen Negen was born on October 11, 1970, in Moorhead. She spent her early school years in Blomkest and graduated from Willmar High School in 1989. Suzanne went on to further her education at Ridgewater College, earning a degree in cosmetology. After a brief time, she discovered her true calling in childcare, where she enjoyed holding and nurturing the children.

Suzanne found joy in the simple comforts of life—reading a good book, watching Hallmark and Disney movies, and, most of all, spending time with her children, Kalli, Cole, Zachary and Mason. New babies in the family brought her unmatched happiness, and it was often a challenge to persuade her to share once she had one in her arms. Suzanne will be remembered as a loving and devoted mother, daughter, sister, and friend.

Suzanne is survived by her children: Kalli, Cole and Mason Negen; mother, Linda Roelofs; siblings: Joel (Kelly) Roelofs of Rockford, Michael (Jennifer) Roelofs of St. Bonifacius and Gina (Larkin) Adey of White Bear Lake; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Zachary; and father, Bob Roelofs.
