Thomas T. Peterson

Thomas T. Peterson, 80, of New London, died Monday, September 21, 2020, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar. A public visitation will be from 11:00 - 1:00 p.m. Monday followed by a private family funeral at the Johnson Funeral Home in New London. Public graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. at East Norway Lake Lutheran Cemetery.                   

Thomas Theadore Peterson was born on February 11, 1940 on the family farm near Brooten, the son of Harry and Thelma (Ogdahl) Peterson.  He grew up on the farm and attended country grade school in district # 95.  He lived with his parents on the farm where he helped with chores and did the mowing.  After his parents moved from the farm, he moved to a group home in Willmar and worked at Kandi Works in Kandiyohi.

Thomas was a faithful member of East Norway Lake Lutheran Church.  He enjoyed mowing the lawn on the farm, boat rides, and traveling with his parents, especially their trip to Norway, Tennessee and Yellowstone.

Thomas is survived by his siblings, Howard Peterson of Chaska, Harryette (Wes) Bartron of West Fargo, ND and Julaine Nettum of West Fargo, ND.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
