Winifred "Winnie" Palm, 88, of Willmar, died Monday, June 8, 2026, Bethesda Grand in Willmar.
Her service will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 23, at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, June 22, at the funeral home and will continue one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.
Winifred Lou (Pearson) Palm was born January 25, 1938, in Willmar, Minnesota, to William and Lilly (Edberg) Pearson. She grew up in Willmar and graduated from Willmar High School. Winnie then attended North Park College in Chicago, IL.
On June 4, 1960, Winnie was united in marriage to Thomas Palm. They made their home in Hoffman Estates Illinois, where Winnie worked for Eagle Grocery Store for 17 years. Tom and Winnie moved to Willmar in 1989 where Winnie worked at Jennie-O for 12 years before retiring in 2003.
Winnie was a lmember of First Covenant Church. She was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Palm; her children, Sue Harter and Matt; Carleen Meckenstock and CSM (R) Klaus Meckenstock; Joe Palm; and Sheila Bass, Ted and Logan; grandchildren, Jim Harter and Cassie; Angela Armstrong and Ryan; Cody Garecht and Rebecca; and Hunter Meckenstock; and her great-grandchildren, Aria and Amelia Harter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Lilly Pearson; Morgan Bass; and her many cousins of her generation — Pearson, Edberg, Nelson and Broberg.
